How each sign can navigate retrograde season

Four planets in retrograde during May?  Oh boy, this could be tough!  However, retrograde can actually impact us all in different ways, depending on our astrological sign.  Our star sign can tell us so much about our personalities, who we are and what’s in store for us.  It’s all there in the stars, if we choose to read them.  So what can we expect during retrograde?  Find your sign below and see how you should navigate retrograde season.

Capricorn (20 Dec – 19 Jan)

Know your worth, and know who you are!  Draw your attention into your internal world, and focus on you throughout this retrograde period.  Put yourself first, find your feet and don’t forget everything you need you already have within you.  Dedicate time to yourself and self care rituals to keep your energy level through this turbulent time.

 

Aquarius (20 Jan – 19 Feb)

Reconnect to your inner child and rediscover your creativity.  If you are feeling a little bit lost during this time, find your way back by feeling inspired by an old childhood pastime.  Navigate retrograde and let yourself feel free by writing, drawing, painting, dancing, singing.  Anything that makes you feel good and see what comes up when you take time away from the pressures of life to rediscover who you really are.  Not who people want you to be.

 

Pisces (20 Feb – 20 March)

Check your friendship circle.  Make sure throughout this season you are paying attention to who’s energy you surround yourself with.  We are a product of our environment and who we spend our time with.  Review the people around you and find deeper connections to the people who make you feel good.  And perhaps disconnect from people who drain your energy and leave you feeling negative.  Deepen your understanding of yourself and others to thrive in this season.

 

Aries (21 March – 20 Apr)

Take time to look at your work life.  Is it making you happy and are you staying true to yourself?  Work is a key area of our life and if we experience imbalance here it can throw us off kilter elsewhere.  Focus on keeping your work life balance stable and don’t take on more than you can handle.  Remember you can say no and still be enough.

 

Taurus (21 Apr – 20 May)

What are your values in life?  Without being clear on our values, we can lack direction and purpose.  By getting clear on our values we can step into alignment with our true life’s purpose.  Take time to really think about what you value in life and what is most important to you.  Can you find ways to dedicate more time to these aspects of your life?  Retrograde will challenge you by asking you to choose between what you want to do and what you should do.

 

Gemini (21 May – 21 June)

Change is good, if we think it so.  Retrograde can encourage us to change.  It might be time to step up to the next level and become the highest version of you.  Reinvent yourself in any way you think you need.  Whether this be a change of hair colour, a change of career path or a change of breakfast cereal.  Break out of your comfort zone and try something new.

 

Cancer (22 June – 22 July)

Get out of your head and into your body.  Its easy for you to lose yourself in thought dear cancer, especially during retrograde.  Remember to stay present and remind yourself life is happening right now.  Focus on keeping a steady meditation practice during this season.  Be mindful of what your thoughts are telling you, and don’t forget not everything your brain tells you is true.

 

Leo (23 July – 23 Aug)

Your power lies in your daily habits.  Leo’s should take time to review their day to day habits.  Maintaining healthy habits to support wellbeing through retrograde is the key to staying on top this season.  Focus on building and maintaining habits that get you closer to where you want to be.  Also look at any habits you have which are no longer serving you, use this time to break them and replace them.  A new habit can be built in 30 days, you just have to want to succeed and believe in yourself.

 

Virgo (24 Aug – 22 Sep)

Virgo its time to let go and go with the flow.  If you try to control everything you are going to head into a downward spiral during retrograde.  You can only do what you can with the time that you have.  The rest is out of your hands.  Trust in the universe and trust that it has your best interests at heart. You might find when you relinquish your control, you attract the outcome that you wanted.

 

Libra (23 Sep – 22 Oct)

Check in with your emotions dear Libra.  Is there something they are trying to tell you?  Things could be brought to the surface during retrograde season and its up to you whether you pay attention to the message they are trying to give you.  Or whether you brush them under the carpet.  You’ll feel better for facing up to your inner self sooner rather than later.

 

Scorpio (23 Oct – 21 Nov)

Navigate retrograde by focusing your energy on how you communicate.  Retrograde is known for sending our communication out of order, and this can affect you more Scorpio.  Watch what you are saying.  Does it bring value to you or someone else’s life?  If not then you probably don’t need to say it.

 

Sagittarius (22 Nov – 19 Dec)

Set your intentions and stick to them ahead of retrograde.  It can be easy for you to get distracted this season, so know your intentions and your goals.  Put them somewhere where you can see them, and remind yourself daily.  If you approach everything with a clear intention you are more likely to succeed because you know why you are doing it.
